Rangers v St Mirren Betting Tips [26 December 2021]

Rangers top the Scottish Premiership by six points but that could be just three if Celtic win earlier in the day. The defending champions host St Mirren who are in ninth place, 29 points behind their opponets. Rangers have won their last eight league games and kept a clean sheet in the last five. Only one league game has been lost this season and that was at Dundee United in August. Since then, they have gone 17 Premiership matches without defeat. Home form has seen them win seven out of ten and unbeaten in the last 29, last losing in March of 2020. St Mirren have everything against them at present. They have plenty of players absent due to injury and Covid-19. This isn't the fixture in which to be playing young inexpereinced players but there are likely to be some taking part. St Mirren are only three places above the relegation play-off position and five above bottom placed St Johnstone. They went six league games unbeaten between August and October but have struggled since then. St Mirren had won three in a row but have now gone ten league fixtures without a win but six have been drawn, including a recent goalless draw with Celtic.
