Indonesia have an opportunity to test their reserve team against Myanmar in an International Friendly as the AFF Suzuki Cup nears its end. Indonesia will also play Singapore on the same day in the semi-finals of the regional football competition and will have its squad depth tested against an out-of-form yet spirited Myanmar side. Indonesia finished top of Group B in the Suzuki Cup, winning three games and drawing once, and are set for the Singapore test. They are on a great run of form and have lost just once in their last eight games. Other than the mentioned greater run of form, Indonesia also pose a historical advantage over Myanmar, since they have won each of the last three meetings between the two sides in the past.
Myanmar was in an initial doubt of participation in the AFF Suzuki Cup but have managed to save face by showing up in the competition. However, they finished fourth in Group A of the Suzuki Cup, with just a single win over Timor-Leste. Myanmar football is in managerial turmoil and have won just once in their last eight games. Indonesia are expected to continue their winning form despite their game against Singapore.
Indonesia are in a great run of form at the moment and will be firm favourites to beat Myanmar. We are backing Indonesia to lead at both half time and full time against Myanmar.
