Filip Krajinovic is the 26th seed in the men's singles at Wimbledon. He takes on Jiri Lehecka in the first round, with the winner up against either Nick Kyrgios or Paul Jubb in round two. Krajinovic is the world number 31 and in his last tournament reached the final at Queen's Club losing to Matteo Berrettini. He'll be out to improve his record at Wimbledon because in eight visits, he's played the qualifiers four times, winning just one match. When put straight into the main draw, he's lost all four of his first round matches. You wouldn't have believed that stat when he beat Jenson Brooksby. Sam Querrey and Marin Cilic at Queen's Club.
Jiri Lehecka is ranked 70th in the world and this is the first time he's played at Wimbledon. The Czech player played two warm-up events on grass, both in Germany. Halle saw him lose in his first match against Nick Kyrgios (a possible opponent in the next round) and then in Stuttgart he lost first time out to then world number 205 Dominic Stricker. He comes into this tournament having lost his last four matches. The first of those though was in the final of a Challenger Tour event. That was on clay and he lost to a player ranked 157th in the world. February saw him get to the semi-finals in Rotterdam, but since then he's only beaten one player ranked in the top 90. Go for Krajinovic to finally get a main draw win at Wimbledon.
