Derby County v West Brom Betting Tips [27 December 2021]

Derby County have a game in hand and a chance to reduce the gap against the two teams below them. However, a win in this game could change a lot; with other results going their way, West Brom could rise to second in the standings if they get three points here. That’s not entirely in their control though. They get to this game unbeaten in the last five matches but with just two wins, and have failed to score in four of their last six matches. While in attack they’ve been unconvincing, defensively, West Brom have something to look up to; the team has four clean sheets in the last five matches. Four of their last five matches have produced under 2.5 goals and in only one of their last five matches have they managed to score more than a goal.

Derby last played on 11th of December and will hope to carry on with the positive form they have shown in recent matches. West Brom have failed to take advantage of the slump among the top teams and have even dropped to fourth. Their matches have been low scoring, while Derby are also not the strongest in attack and under 2.5 is a possibility here.
