AC Milan are up to second in Serie A, a point behind leaders Inter. They look to get three vital points when hosting fourth placed Napoli. Milan had won two league games in a row but needed a last gasp goal to get a point at Udinese. This is the last game of this matchday, so Milan may well be four points behind Inter and down to third by the time this game begins. Milan have only lost one home league game this season, a surprise 2-1 loss to Sassuolo. Before that, they'd held Inter to a draw and most recently beat Salernitana (who host Inter this weekend) 2-0. Milan have some tough home games on the way with Roma and Juventus to play in January. Only two of their last 11 home league games have been lost and strangely, it was Sassuolo who also inflicted the other one.
Napoli won at Milan last season and could do with a win here. They made a storming start to the Serie A season with 10 of their first 12 games won. It's gone downhill since then though with three losses in the tive that have followed. That includes the last two with losses to Atalanta and Empoli, both at home. They should have shown Napoli how to beat Sassuolo but gave away a 2-0 away lead and drew 2-2. Only one of their last four away games in Serie A and that was at Salernitana who are bottom of the table. Back Milan to get a win here and have a side bet on both teams scoring.
Napoli have gone off the boil of late and the former leaders are down to fourth in Serie A. Milan are three points ahead of their opponents and hard to beat at home. With Napoli struggling for form, the tip here is for a Milan victory.
